Re: Diablo - HemiFever Tuning - Question?

I bought the hemifever tune for my 2012 Durango R/T today.

I have a catback, intake and 180* thermostat. Previously best with those mods was 15.49@88 MPH. With the 87 canned tune and a trinity my best was 15.31@90 MPH. We'll see what the hemifever tune does.

I lost one or two MPH with the 87 canned tune from Diablosport but I had added 5% fuel due to some LT Knock I saw on the data logs.

Re: Diablo - HemiFever Tuning - Question?

Not feeling much if any difference between Hemifever 89 octane tune and canned 87 octane tune from Diablosport. I think some folks here are exaggerating for whatever reason.

Track will definitely show if there is any difference. Going on the weekend of 5/25/13.

Re: Diablo - HemiFever Tuning - Question?

Night and day difference from what I experienced. I don't record times or take my Jeep to the track, but the tune that came loaded from Diablo on my Intune didn't get me excited. The custom tunes from hemifever did. Feels faster off the line, holds gears longer, changes the driving experience IMO. Very satisfied customer here, and I have zero reason to exaggerate. If I felt that I threw money away on these custom tunes, I would absolutley warn others not to waste the cash.

Good luck at the track.

Thanks.

I loaded canned 87 octane tune and raised shift points and throttle response 20% myself by modifying tune with the device. Did you try that before getting the hemifever tune?

It is hard to get a real idea of increased performance unless you look at something measureable. I think the track will tell the tale. I actually did feel a seat of the pants difference with the canned 87 tune coming from stock. I didn't feel much if any difference coming from 87 tune to hemifever 89 octane tune.

No exaggeration here. You are the only one who has felt this. Big difference on my end with canned Diablo Tune and Hemifever tune. Crisp fast shifts, immediate kick down of gears upon hard acceleration.

Something is not right. I would contact hemifever and tell him Sean there isn't a noticeable difference. That is the most obvious change with the tune. The diablo stock tune shifts felt no different to me.

Re: Diablo - HemiFever Tuning - Question?

89 octane custom tune loaded. Loaded it again just to be sure.

MPG around town with some highway driving was 13.3 (MDS on)

Stock it was 14 something. With canned 87 Diablo tune is was 13 something (MDS off).

I ran the 91 tune for a day and tonight to filled up with 93 and loaded the 93 tune.....pushed the throttle up to 20% and turned off the MDS. The Hemi really seems to come to life. I know it's not all in my head because you can actually feel it pulling harder. I have a feeling that mileage is going to suffer greatly though. I plan to make a few 0-60 runs and record the time. I'll report back with the times.....I should put the stock 20's back on and compare the difference between the 20's and 22's.

Re: Diablo - HemiFever Tuning - Question?

Anyone know if the custom tune issue has been resolved for the 2011 WK2 models yet?
