Re: Diablo - HemiFever Tuning - Question?

Received my 89 octane tune from hemifever today. Sean said the custom tunes have been hit or miss, so he has sent out a few tunes for some of us to try. So far so good. I have only put about 3 miles on the tune so far but I can tell that throttle response is much improved over the canned diablo tunes. The jeep kicks down a gear when accelerating, instead of trying to hold the current gear and bogging down. I have plans to run out this afternoon, so we will see how she does... So far initial thoughts is that is much improved over the diablo tunes. I will give some more feed back once I get some more time behind the wheel.

For us 2011 guys that have been waiting on this, it looks like the time has come.

Re: Diablo - HemiFever Tuning - Question?

I knocked a second off my 0-60 time with Sean's 89 tune and yes, throttle response is much improved and gear kick-downs are immediate. Stomp on the throttle and feel how it pulls through the entire rpm range.

In this hot weather it went from 7.96 to 7, but in the winter it was in the 6.6 range.

Yeah, guess I should clarify my time.....that was also during a much cooler day.
I haven't tried it lately....been close to a 100 degrees but I'm at sea level.

Re: Diablo - HemiFever Tuning - Question?

Guys, have a question and Ive been searching the forums for the answer. Im receiving my I-1000 DCX today and want to load up a tune right away. I am a little nervous though about all of the ABS light issues. I have the WPF - 20" x 8"
Premium satin carbon aluminum wheels on and whatever tires came with that from the dealer. I check it out after work if need be. Since these are the optional "stock" wheels for the 2011 limited, should I be worried or not about the abs light popping up. Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks!
