With a custom tune: how many notches above 1?
With a custom tune, CAI: how many notches above 1?
With a custom tune, CAI, tb: how many notches above 1?
With a custom tune, CAI, tb, exhaust: how many notches aboves 1?
Canned 87 octane performance tune = 1.5.

In my opinion, about the same results as using sport mode without the tuner.

I have a CAI and dual exhaust (magnaflow 16929)
running the canned 91 tune is probably a 2
running Sean's custom 91 tune is probably a 4.5-5

I will say, Once the variable valve timing kicks in around 3500+rpm the engine really opens up and the jeep gets moving

I experience that now with a stock tune an OEM dual exhaust.

The 3.6 responds well to increased exhaust flow... this is why a custom tune from Sean is a must with dual exhaust so he can tweak the bottom end since it feels like you give up a little on the bottom with the dual exhaust.

Re: Diablosport 3.6 V6 11-12

There's some more tq mgmt tables that's in the 3.6 car platform I'm asking Diablo to hunt down in the code and provide to us for the GC. Hopefully they have the time to find and add that while working on the rest of the '13 updates.

Excellent service from Henifever. Sent him my stock PCM and Diablo 87 I have loaded up at 830 last night, and by 11pm he had emailed me back a 87 octane and 93 octane tune back. Can't wait until later today to test out the 87 tune on my tank of 87 gas. Will post up impressions later.

Re: Diablosport 3.6 V6 11-12

hey man thanks. Not sure what we'll see on 87 octane but its worth a shot. I think it'll be nice if I can get Diablo to locate that extra tq mgmt table. The premium fuel tunes have shown .4 reduction in 5 to 70mph runs vs stock in a couple of folks logs.

And that's fine. I also look forward to burning this tank of 87 octane and putting in 93 and seeing what that map can do!

Re: Diablosport 3.6 V6 11-12

I bought the unit last Friday. Took me awhile to install the driver for the down loader software, pain in the A... Anyway, I downloaded all updates for the Jeep products and installed the 91 Octane Tune in my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6. I felt right away the low end drivability improved, shiftpoint where smoother and my OBD2 gadget and my HTC one app (Engine Management diagnostic tool) showed good improvements trough out the rev range, specially low end torque, improved by about 25 fp on the wheels average.
Question about that Hemifever tune, why wouldn't Diablo have a map like this?

Now running Henifever 87 tune version 2 and runs better than version 1. If anybody is looking for custom tuning, go Hemifever. The service and response time is amazing.

Re: Diablosport 3.6 V6 11-12

Who has dynoed a v8 b4 and after the tuner? Please post your results. How about 1/4 mile times, what is the claimed improvement?
