I put a hemifever tune in my '11 Summit 5.7 and disabled MDS in the tune. The ECO light still illuminates but MDS is definitely off. Shift points aren't affected, the tune definitely modified them!

As far as I can tell ECO isn't a "mode" but rather in a stock tune coincides with MDS deactivating 4 cylinders, and now it appears to illuminate when I am driving in a sedate manner and being more fuel efficient. It has nothing to do with shift points, at least on my'11. The only option in the settings is to turn the ECO notification on or off but it's just that - the notification.

Re: Diablosport I1000 DCX now supports 2014 5.7

i'm just waiting on my CAI now, its been on back order for 2 week already - moe's performance is saying volant ran out of the normal filters. I feel like the powercore is just like printer ink, so I opted for the oiled filter.

No further issues since I cleared the trans code with the tune, other than I wasting gas because having exhaust has that effect on me.

ECO is a mode on the 2014. We don't have an ECO light on the dash like prior models, but we do have a button on the dash to disable it, which would normally disable MDS as well. With the 8 speed, the shift points are much lower when in ECO mode.

I just received my Tuner today from Hemi Fever just installed the initial 91 tune, hopefully I can get with him next week to get the 93 tune. Right now I'm running a xpipe but I am considering going back to the stock suitcase muffler to get back some of that lowend. So far the throttle response is better I went WOT a few times now need time to get adjusted to it to notice the real difference. Going to adjust the throttle all the way up in a bit. So far so good hoping the hemifever tune will be A+

Hemifever,
What kinda performance increases are you seeing with your tune and the 87mm throttle body. I already got a cai and am looking for easy power adders. At this point I do not have a cat back after hearing some on here talking about decrease in low end torque and since I spend most of my driving is in the low end I don't want to give up any low end if I can avoid it. Thanks for any help.

I have a 2014 summit hemi with Volant cai and moes 87mm tb and I bought diabo dcx from hemifever. I am not sure how much performance the cai and tb add by themselves but after getting the dcx and the hemifever custom tune I noticed a big increase in performance and my summit runs so much better. Sean with hemifever provided excellent support and super fast turnaround times. Really cool!

this generation engine has been showing 30 to 35 hp gains in the 3000 to 5000 rpm range. Generally tb's are good for 8 hp. You'd have to really dyno it with and w/o the tb to know what they are doing.

I am hoping to get somebody to do a Modern Muscle dyno on a tb. PM me if you have a dyno in your area that can handle your awd (if that's what you have)

Re: Diablosport I1000 DCX now supports 2014 5.7

I can vouch for Sean's steler turn around time on getting the tune out to me and the difference is immediate once uploaded. My next item will have to be 180 thermostat and adjust fans. I was sitting in NYC traffic yesterday and noticed heat soked delay and looked at intake temp hovering 160+ with temp around 228. It felt like summer day even though it was 32 degrees out. I have some more 0-60 pulls on video I will upload later.
