Dynomax 54777 Exhaust X-Pipe

Want a little more V-8 sound out of the hemi, but do not want to spend over $1000. I know Gibson has an axle back system, but requires cutting. Has anyone tried the Dynomax X pipe?
Is it a direct bolt on, just remove the suitcase and install this, and any experience with drone or raspiness?
I have searched the web for video and used the search function for this part, but found nothing.
Thanks.

I'd imagine tons of tingy sounds and loud rasp at high rpm.

Re: Dynomax 54777 Exhaust X-Pipe

If you want more but not crazy exhaust sound on a budget why not just remove the mid-mufflers and replace with X-pipe? I did, love the growl, no issues with pressure (ou will have issues with straight pipe) and it was super cheap at $160. It has a great sound when you hit it and at normal speed has a nice growl as well, I also have a Predator as well with a 93 tune so that enhances it.

Any chance you can post a sound clip or video?

Super 10s isn't a bad option for a little more rumble

Re: Dynomax 54777 Exhaust X-Pipe

So what is that setup? You removed the stock suitcase section and welded in an x-pipe? Are you running the stock rear mufflers?

It's very loud and in my opinion has a bad sound quality. That sounds like it resonates badly inside the cabin?

I would bet a 1,000 bucks it drones inside the cab. Pretty sure the rear resonators are removed
