Exhaust cutaway on rear bumper.

Has any one cut the rear bumper of a WK GC to accomodate twin exhaust tips on each site on the V8??

It appears to have a line in the plastic to accomodate this..

This is what I want to achieve..

Re: Exhaust cutaway on rear bumper.

Certainly can but won't have the rolled lip over the top of the pipe if you do. Also will be cosmetic only so no need to run pipe, just put tips on driver's side.

Mildly tuned even fire 6 does not need or want duals like an 8. Is a matter of pulse duration and inertia. Since have a catalytic converter, everything after that is just a matter of routing, not tuning IMNSHO. Do not even really need a muffler.

Re: Exhaust cutaway on rear bumper.

I would just replace the lower cladding with the one from the V8, it will look more finished. That part is not expensive ($150 maybe) and its not too hard to install.

Re: Exhaust cutaway on rear bumper.

I am all ready getting a V8, and want to upgrade to two dual tips when I mod the exhaust, because I think it would look louder..

If could make look and sound like these with a Pentastar, it would be wicked.
