exhaust questions

I've seen that a few companies are now offering cat back systems for the '11 gcs but are the kits really necessary? Can one not just buy the mufflers alone? You would have to get the ones with the tips made right on to them. The kits just seem outrageously priced to me.

thanks

Re: exhaust questions

Yep way to much...best bet is if you already know what kind of muffler you wanna run, just go to you local exhaust shop and have them do some custom work. Trust me you'll save hundreds by doing this instead.

wk2overland is just really nice
Re: exhaust questions

agreed. stupid high prices.
i got the magnaflow, and while its nice, over time i've decided that i want it louder so i'm gonna go hack it up anyway.
you can get all the benefits of a full system without actually buying the full system. except maybe ease of installation.
