Factory exhaust swap

I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude... and my neighbor just did a stage 1 on his 2014 SRT. Can I install is factory SRT exhaust on my Altitude?

Re: Factory exhaust swap

If you butcher it im sure you can get it to fit but it won't just bolt right up.
Chances are you'll loss HP and Torque since the diameter of the SRT is larger and you'll need to hack it to fit properly.

Bingo. A larger exhaust system only helps when the original becomes a restriction. If you engine is basically stock or has bolt-ons a larger exhaust system from a SRT will most likely not help.

Re: Factory exhaust swap

I believe that there are no chances to loose power or torque by installing srt exhaust. But in set with srt headers. Engine back. It would be less restrictive exhaust. Just all.
I know people who did it. They reported nice sound and slightly better performance.

You "believe" but where are the facts?
How do you expect him to get a set of a headers for the Pentastar?

Whoops 8-))) Correct. I didn't checked the profile. Its not visible via mobile app. I meant that was concerning 5.7. Pardon.
PS. People do dual exhaust at 3.6 , and srt exhaust parts could be used like all others but that is absolutely different story.
