Ok, I installed Airaid CAI last night and here is my thought.
I'm glad I got this. I had K&N CAI before on my previous vehicles likes Infiniti FX and knew it usually makes good sound(sometimes maybe too loud.) and little bit of extra HP.
I decided not to go with K&N because I believed Pentastar for WK2 needed OEM intake tube with air chamber instead of straight tube for rather low and peaky low end tourque. Specially with current decade old 5 speed transmission, extra air stored in tube is always welcome.
Because of utilizing OEM tube, it doesn't get loud, just subtle and nice growling. And I also liked the fact it uses OEM air intake that brings outside air to the filter, like Volant's.
As you see from my pic, its black panels are actually made out of steel. Not plastic. Little heavy but sturdy.
