Re: Finally put on the mopar CAI

I have the mopar CAI on my 3.6 and I love it.. If you go on eBay and search mopar filter sock or prefilter they have the filter bags that go over to stop moisture and dirt. Thinking of getting one for a while now

I'm loving it!...sounds awesome when stepping on it and just about every time I get out of the jeep I gotta pop the hood to stare at it lol...I haven't paid any attention to gas mileage or hp gains

Re: Finally put on the mopar CAI

Is that a dry filter that needs replacement or a lifetime filter that you clean?

Re: Finally put on the mopar CAI

So I got the Mopar CAI. Anyone else have issues getting the air flow sensor to stay in the grommet? Mine keeps popping out.

Re: Finally put on the mopar CAI

I had the same issue with my K&N. It will twist in but was very loose. I wrapped it in Teflon tape which then kept it nice and snug. I think if people are hearing whistling it is from air passing by the sensor due to the loose fit.
