I haven't changed the oil yet on my 2014 but its probably the same as my 2012. It took 7.5 qts with the oil filter change to bring it to the top line on the oil dipstick.

6 quarts for the 3.6L V6, and 7 quarts for the V8.

Typically I would follow the EVIC, or the 10,000 mile limit. But since they gave me 4 free oil changes to be used in 2 years, I probably do one every six months.

Re: First oil change

Personally, I'll be changing my oil / oil filter every 5000 miles, using Mobil 1 5w-20 synthetic and a Mopar oil filter.

Usually smaller displacement engines like the 3.6L V6 are harder on oil than a larger V8 engine.

Changed my oil today @ 1160 mi. with 5w-20 Amsoil. Installed a Fumoto oil drain valve part# F-106S ( have used these for years). Makes oil changes simpler. No tools needed under veh. With the top side oil filter, oil change on this engine is a breeze!!!!!!

NOTE!!! The 2014 PentaStar V6 uses a "new style" oil filter. Mopar part # 68191349AA (MO-349 on the box). Previous yrs PentaStar filters will not work!!!
