You have a 2014 5.7 and only getting 12 mpg?!!

Are you regularly running in sport mode with your foot on the floor?
Or spending most of your time at stoplights where the immediate mpg is 0?

Anyone track if there is an observable MPG difference using the Eco mode or not? Whether for local driving or highway?

I run nothing but 89. I did fill up with 91 about twice after getting it prior to realizing 91 does nothing. I still use top tier gas and actually just realized ARCO is top tier. I think i will fill up there more often.

I'll add my 2 cents - I use 92 octane all the time. The 5.7 hemi Jeep seems to like it just fine - runs great!

Nope, nothing like that. Accelerating slowly, keeping the distance far enough and the foot light enough not to have to use brakes at all unless I have to come to a complete stop; 2/3s of my miles are on the freeway, although only about 5-mile distances. Freeway speeds around 60-65. Idling... just for a few minutes total in my 5-mile distance on the way home.

Haven't had a chance to check, but I want to at some later time.

If I just trying around town, this is the number I got too. I am thinking trading in for a diesel now. However, I do really love the POWERrrrrrrrrr of the V8

Yeah, I kind of somewhat knew what I was getting into, but I definitely wanted the power and the speed. Not that I regret the purchase now, but wish it had a better mileage.

I got about 22.5 on highway which pretty much what a get from my old car, which is a tuned 10' forester XT. So, I do happy with the mileage I am getting from a V8 GC since it's much powerful and heavier.

I am planning to purchase a small car next year to get better mileage and even out the mileage of the car since I already got 42000 mi on my GC, which purchase about a year and half ago. My last car I owned, I drove for 4 years and got 90000 mi when I trade in for the GC. I am a friend of the new Fiat 500, but the 500x look too soft. I could either get a Jeep Renegade or a WRX next year.
