Forget diesel how about propane?

I'm in the propane business and my dad recently added propane to his 2012 ford explorer, pretty much the same gas mileage, burns cleaner and they say its better for the engine..... Really thinking about doing this to my 13, all they have to do is put an octopus on the fuel injector and that's it....you switch it from gas to propane or vis versa.....the kit cost around 4,000 so it is definitely a investment....here's a pic of his truck getting filled up!

T-Ride is on a distinguished road
Re: Forget diesel how about propane?

My dad has been doing that for over 20 years. It does run cleaner but doesn't burn as hot so you lose hp. Also tends to run a little rougher

Yea old technology that is picking up steam, it works well for him and I def can see the hp part, I like just don't know if it will void any warranties...in his ford it doesn't because they have that option from the factory but Idn if Chrysler would cause a stink who knows.... Thought that would be pretty cool idea though
