Getting ready to trade ... ???

Hello ALL,
I'm getting ready to trade my 2011 Laredo X for a 2015 Limited.
I have two questions,
1: How's the Hemi with the 8sp tranny performing ?

2: Should I bother swapping out my Volant CAI ( assuming the engine bay is the same ) or leave it in for the next owner ? ( I still have the stock one )

Follow up to Q-2 How soon is too soon ( if at all ) to make a CAI swap. I waited til I had about 5k on it before I made the original swap on the X ?

Thanks ....

Getting ready to trade ... ???

Hemi with 8speed is very smooth. I have a K&N Cai on mine. Put it on around 10k but that's only because that's when I got it. Sport mode unleashes the beast!

Engine bay is same as 2011.

My 2014 with K&N.

Re: Getting ready to trade ... ???

If you like the sound of the CAI, they keep it for the new vehicle if it's compatible...which is quite likely. The sound is the only real benefit so that's what counts.

Getting ready to trade ... ???

Nice detail Hemi2!!!

Magnaflow catback in garage awaiting spring for the install. Should let the Hemi sing its tune!

Spring is delayed today. Just got 40cm of snow.

Had to pull my neighbors Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4x4 out of his driveway with my 14 Limited.

Re: Getting ready to trade ... ???

I would definitely remove the CAI and sell it or install it in you next one

Re: Getting ready to trade ... ???

I would keep it and put it on the new Hemi. I would also clean the filter.

Re: Getting ready to trade ... ???

Thanks for the replies.
I'll definitely swap the CAI and I'm hoping the 8sp tranny performs well. I'm hoping it's as responsive as my X, especially in passing situations...
