Finally got mine installed today.. Not sure what to think of it yet. I'll report back later and hopefully get a video or two.

Did a bit of running around this afternoon so here's my mini review.

Good sound at start up. Sounds a little meaner stock with more bass. Cruising around its not real noticeable inside above 25mph until you hit around 45mph in D and MDS kicks in...then it slightly drones. Put the shifter in 5 and then it sounds better and drone is nearly gone. I haven't had it on the highway yet though so I'll report on that later. When really getting on it with the windows up I hear my Volant intake more than the exhaust but I'm sure it's louder on the outside.

So far mpgs have dropped because I can't keep my foot outta the gas lol. Cruising around in Sport mode is much more fun now.

I'll try and get some good outside video soon for you guys.

All in all for the cost I think you can't go wrong. After rebate and 15% autoanything.com discount it was $351 for the stainless.

Update: highway cruising at 65mph and MDS engaged definitely drones. It's not real bad, but try to have a conversation and it's definitely noticeable. I'll give it some more time to break in before I decide if I really like it or not.

I've only got a couple hundred miles on it so I'm still deciding if I like it or not. It sounds great around town and spirited driving but when MDS kicks in while cruising it just ruins it....its not noticeable with the radio up though. I think once I can disable MDS with a tuner I'll love it. It sounds just like a Hemi should and is getting better the more it breaks in.

Re: Gibson Exhaust ORDERED

Kinda weird. Very subtle drone with mine and easily tolerable.

I never said it was intolerable. I've had older mustangs with flowmasters and that drone was intolerable lol. I'm the type that likes to listen to the engine and exhaust when I cruise sometimes so when MDS kicks in its just a buzz kill. The best I can describe in MDS is it sounds like a V6 with a bad exhaust until you slap the shifter over to 5, oh hello again Hemi lol.

Re: Gibson Exhaust ORDERED

Have you tried hitting the tow/haul mode button. I believe that will turn off MDS.

Yeah tow turns it off but I just put the shifter in 5 or 6 around town and that disables it too.

Let the wife take it to go shopping today and it's louder than I thought on the outside. I was out in the garage and I could hear her all the way around the block and down the street. Definitely sounds good outside.

Re: Gibson Exhaust ORDERED

I get no drone from mine at 55-65MPH with MDS engaged. I guess people are just more succeptible to noise than others.
