Re: Gibson is now in the game with an axle back exhaust

That does suck you have to cut the factory pipes up.
They should of just did a bolt-on cat-back.
I think their gonna lose a lot of potential buyers because of that...say you don't measure the cuts right and its uneven, that would drive me nuts.

My TB SS was a complete cat-back and to tell you the truth once it was on I
threw away the factory exhaust after a couple of weeks anyway. I guess if your not worried about the factory set-up and know a good exhaust guy who takes pride in his work, dollar for dollar its your best option.

I think they found a way to save us some $$$ and gain some customers. The directions look pretty straight forward on where to cut. Then you just put the system on with clamps.
I had a Gibson (cat back) on my Expedition years ago. I loved the sound but hated that I bought the aluminized one(it did not last very long)

I emailed Gibson asking for sound clips or video but the email kept coming back undeliverable. If they give me a good discount(or free) I'll gladly be the guinea pig and write a review

Re: Gibson is now in the game with an axle back exhaust

I am very close to them here in southern California and that makes it hard not to just drive over and buy one haha.

If we could hear it or have reviews regarding drone before cutting the stock pipes I think they could sell them pretty quick.

I'm into about $2,ooo with exhaust modifications and configurations and the Magnaflow drone and yes the damn Corsa. It drones as well.I've seen it stated on this site that there is NO DRONE.Well you are lucky then because my Corsa system drones, not as much as the Magnaflow or deleating the resonators but i'm tired of it all.Sounds real good when you get on it but as long as you have MDS kicking in you will have drone. It won't drone on a six cylinder or a non MDS engine .

Have you sold any of the cat backs that you purchased? I bet you could make a bunch of the money back
