Heres even more proof for you....a VIDEO of my OWN 2014 running a 3.7 0-60
Wow I am impressed with your times but you didnt test the RR Sport under same conditions so any comparison isnt valid. Top Gear USA is a joke. Life isnt just 0-60 or 1/8 mile drag strip runs.
And I am sorry are your SRTs stock???? We are talking stock right off the dealer showroom. If it isnt stock than there is a 700hp tuner version available just to make things fair.
What would be interesting is to 0-60mph or 0 to100kph on dirt in both vehicles.
Has a 2014 gone up Pikes Peak? Might ant to compare its time to the RR Sport.
Sorry boys you need to compare Apples and Apples and not apples and limes and Cherries and tomatoes.
Someone will do a comparison soon 2014 GC SRT, 2014 RR Sport V8, AMG GL63, X5Sport 5.0 and Audi Q5. Its a natural. Bet its already been done and just waiting publication.
GC SRT8 is a nice SUV. I haven't driven the 2014 but I have driven 2014 RR Sport V8 both on off road and on terrain my 2012 GC sees weekly. A SRT, X5, and Q5 cant go as far off road and RR Sport was more controlled off road than my GC with the ORA I package. RR's air suspension is at least a generation ahead of Jeep's off road. On road Rr is few years ahead. I have driven a 2012 GC SRT. 2012 SRT would have issues going cross the fields and valleys I cross. My V6 GC is better balanced than the SRT chasing apexes.
Best of all 2014 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are probably more reliable than entire 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee line. Notice this excludes the LR4, Evoque and LR2.
