You should go sit in the passenger seat of an SRT and have someone demonstrate Launch Control to you.... you may be surprised!
O yeah lol I forgot about that 2.5 but their like what 30k?. Don't get me wrong srt8 jeep is fast for a heavy suv 4.8 secs is 4.8 secs though 0-60 no clue what it does the quarter mile in. I was going to get one but I just couldn't see sacrificing the off road abilities for 2 or 3 secs faster so I went with the hemi overland mainly for towing and I love sitting at the light playing with quadra lift o wait they went with cvt in all infinity's now wow yuck nm I have no clue

Re: Got demolished by a Ford Explorer Sport

I believe the new Infiniti JX crossover is the first and only Infiniti with CVT (it's also the first front wheel Infiniti). Every other Infiniti has the 7-speed transmission.

Anyway, if someone chooses to drag racing their GC whether it's powered by a Pentastar or a Hemi it's their own business and they shouldn't be judged on an Internet Forum.

I have driven 3 inifinity vehicle in the last 3 years... every one was a CVT. I don't even remember the models but I very much remember the inability of two of them to "downshift" at all.

Edit: I was incorrect, it was a total of 4 I drove, two Muranos and one Altima that all had CVT and I was not impressed with them, that part still holds. The one I drove that was not as big an issue was the FX but I wasn't a fan of it either.

Only just their business if they don't post about it on the forum. Just saying what's the point in posting on a forum should we all just read and not respond? That be a blog right

Agreed! Honda Civics and Eagle Talons will smoke your Hemi all day... But at the end of that day, that guy still looks like a deuchebag driving around. And you look like a Boss.

Next time you see that explorer, challenge him to hook up to you and have a pull-off...you'll see who is the real joke.

That be a Site to see lol all these new ideas for motorsports some sound very entertaining.
Here in San Francisco I only race taxi drivers in the turn only lane that are trying to get ahead of me and not turning and those damn annoying scooters so far undefeated

Well the first time a scooter beats you, you should probably hand over your keys... And your Man-card.

Hey those scooter riders are nuts I'm going to end up having to turn over my license when police are pulling them out from under my Jeep. They will do anything to get to front of the line.

Hmmm You got me there... I was thinking that they were FX I drove but I guess it was Murano. I will figure out what the car was though.

Edit: yep, guess time flys... One of the others was the Nissan 3.5 SR and I drove the comparable Infinity the same day. The 3.5SR was the one that gave me the most Grief and I recommend if you are going to buy the JX go drive it for a bit... I remember the Engine sounds and feel to be super wacko.

Anyway, my personal belief is that 8 gears will keep it in the sweet spot. Never been a fan of the CVT technology.
