These catch can look really nice. My question is if there is really any detrimental effect to that small amount of oil going into the intake over time and getting burnt? If it was a large amount I could see it fouling plugs, etc.

Catch cans really come into effect for the long run. If your looking to trade after a few years then its really no use for it since the next owner is the only one who will really profit.

Re: Got my Billet Technology Catch Can today

I just drained mine on saturday after 1800 miles. The bottle on the right is what i got.

The one on the left is from the 2 previous times i drained it maybe 400 - 500 miles in between.

Man am i glad that aint going in my intake. Over time the build up would cause loss of power. Is it easy to clean? Sure, seafoam is your best friend but why run the risk of losing the engines full potential with all that gunk.

Granted not all folks are savy with cleaning so here is where the dealer would try to pull a fast one and charge an arm and a leg to clean when realisticly the seafoam cans are way under $100.

Just my 0.02.
