Why don't you install it? Takes no longer than 15-30 mins. Is your WK2 wasting away in your garage also? LOL.

LOL! Actually one could say my JGC is wasting away in my garage, I only drive it once a week! lol! I did try to install it, but couldn't get the stupid hoses off the factory fittings, and I was getting frustrated, and when I get frustrated, I tend to not care anymore and just use so much force to accomplish my task that I don't care anymore if I break stuff, lol. Plus I also don't like the tight fit of the catch can, I had the hardest time trying to line up the can to screw it on, I'm sure with practice I could get it down, but that was turn off for me as well. lol

Re: Got my Billet Technology Catch Can today

Lol.

Yeah that factory hose was a pain(rubber one). The pcv line(plastic) was not that tough. I would suggest using W-40 oil to help. Realistically I don't believe I will go back to stock so I ended slicing it(rubber one) with a box cutter. Came out with ease. And yea the can sits really tight compared to other vehicles I've Owned and installed a cc. Unscrewing the can is tight but do-able.

Re: Got my Billet Technology Catch Can today

Just drained mine yesterday after a 500 mile trip and had quite a bit. Glad that gunk is not going in my intake.

Re: Got my Billet Technology Catch Can today

Cleaned the can for the first time on a 14 WK2. It was well over half full in 3k miles.

I'm impressed and happy the oil is not on my valves / rings / plugs etc etc.

Re: Got my Billet Technology Catch Can today

Ive been reading this thread and was wondering if the catch can is only for the V8 GC? Is there one out there for the 3.6 engines or the same one can be used for the V6?

Thanks guys!
