Re: Got my Billet Technology Catch Can today

After seeing how much oil gets trapped in the BT catch can. I decided to order one up. I do not want all that oil getting put back into my engine. As soon as my GC Overland comes in this will be the first thing I put on. Also if anybody is looking to purchase a BT catch can I found a Discount code that I just used for 15% off. Type in CODE DOD2015.

Good on ya' Dennis! Thanks for the Discount code! I was looking at getting this one (in red):

Any feedback on the new style with clear, composite bottom?

Re: Got my Billet Technology Catch Can today

The clear ones came out right around the time i had already ordered mine. Wish i should have waited but non the less i didn't want to wait any longer and not have a can. I like the longer ones too cause it seems to fill up almost half way pretty fast with the regular one. Its been 1k since i last drained it but want to wait to reach 2500 and see how much i collect.

ssgunner, is the longer one the newer design or the older design? I have seen no mention of different sizes when ordering?

You know what, you are correct. My mistake.

Can't remember but i think it was a different vendor that created a longer can(These are for the 6.2 SS Camaro). As far as i know they do not make any for jeeps. I did ask the vendor and the only difference is the size of the fittings and hose so with a lil modification they can fit. Regardless though i'm happy with this one.

Got both confused

Re: Got my Billet Technology Catch Can today

Just fitted a Provent 200. Here is the link Mann Provent 200 Oil Catch Can Separator (3931070550)

Had the same one on my 2007 WK Grand Diesel and the oil stayed unbelievably clean.

Cheers, Craig

Man, I'm just not comfortable forcing that hose out of place. It really doesn't want to come out, for good reason obviously.

So, after much deliberation, I decided to order this BT composite catch can in red with braided hoses, red ends & nickel fittings:

http://www.custombilletstore.com/Pro...uctCode=200017

I used the 15% discount code (DOD2015). Thanks Dennis! I like the ability to see how much oil is collected & when I need to empty it. The reviews have been great & they appear to be well made!
