Has anyone bought a K&N air filter 3.6L

I was wondering if anyone saw a MPG increase running a K&N air filter in the 2011 GC V6 ?

I have one in the Hemi and haven't noticed an appreciable increase in mpg. Can't say on V6.

Re: Has anyone bought a K&N air filter 3.6L

I have run mine with a K&N for months with no problems. I used to run them in my motorcycles, depending on where I lived. I dusty higher altitudes I enjoyed regular paper filters. At lower altitudes and in moist air I have no problems with K&N, but no real noticeable gas mileage changes. The way you drive can definitely affect your mileage.

I put one in my wifes and picked up about .5 mpg's more. That also could have been the engine breaking in more however. Hers is a 2014 also.

My wife has the replacement filter in her 2011 GC. I say she sees about 1-2mpg's difference. I have the more expensive the CAI in my 2012 GC i see a little bit of a gain no much. Depends on how you drive. Gives you some good mid range power though.

I am selling my slightly used (15K miles) for $30. It is posted in the For Sale section. I put in a CAI so no longer need the K&N.
