Based on what I'm reading the camshaft in the 5.7L engines is very small and would net larger increases in HP if swapped out. I'm not 100% sure but the exhaust manifolds seem more than enough for the stk. camshaft and cylinder heads combo.
I have dyno numbers late in the thread and unfortunately at the time he jeep.was stock (like 2 weeks after i got it) i wasnt aware of any dyno shops in my area. I also never posted official time slips. But stock the jeep went 11.2 in the 8th. Intake, throttle body and catback brought it down to a 10.8 and doing headers down to 10.5.
Now days im running in the high 9's takin down a 2014 pentastar charger lol.
While i dont have the timeslips anymore to post (4 years ago just about) i do remember the 3 tenths from the headers. I got really excited about it because it showed that the 3.7 takes well to mods
