With the Diablo Trinity 91 octane tune it improved to 9.5 seconds. My torque improved a lot, by about 40 foot pounds, but did not make a difference in horsepower, I even think the hp went down a bit. The good news, my gas consumption stayed pretty much the same at around 23 mpg in city driving and 25 on the highway. The main improvement is the low end power and no need to rev the hell out of the engine.
At the end of the day, it's torque most of us are actually looking for with all these mods. That's what people are referring to when they refer to a "seat of the pants dyno"
Horespower will give us a higher top end but torque is what gets us there quickest.

How are the shifts? This is my wife's primary car and dont want it too firm except when getting on it.
The canned diablo 87 tune shift feel was much closer to stock, but with different shift points, and a bit more torque. Sean's 89 was much firmer shifting, and had more power too, but I wanted shift firmness dialed back a bit for cruising. Sean sent me a modified tune in just a few hrs and it is very nice now, smooth and light throttle, and firm when you push hard.

Sean tweaked my tune to soften up shifts under light throttle yet I did a 0 to 60 time of 6.73 seconds this morning. Thanks Sean!

I was pleasantly surprised by the last tweak Sean sent as well. Got me down to consistant 6.9 0-60 times. I think the 1-2 shift is better than it was but it's still the weak link...I know I'm losing a quarter second there at least...But I really gotta say this truck performs 1000% better with the Hemifever tune...Especially if it's rolling at all. It's just very difficult to get 5200 lb vehicle rolling quickly, if you know what I mean!

2012 Grand Cherokee 3.6 V6
hemifevertuning 93 octane tune install
0-60mph of 8.56 seconds.

Is this result quick?

Re: Hemifevertuning.com using Diablosport Trinity

So Sean, what's the Trinity Christmas special? My 2013 needs a tune. My first post but it won't be my last. I tend to get a little mod crazy, at least I did with my Charger.

So although my 0-60 time deteriated by 1/2 second, I'm now finding out that from about 1500 rpm & up, I have a screaming beast! Holy Crap it's fast when it's rolling and I tromp on the pedal...WOW! I'm starting to think that's what I really need anyway. Who the heck drag races in a Grand Cherokee!

Re: Hemifevertuning.com using Diablosport Trinity

I know there are no tuners for the '14 yet but does any one know if there is a flash counter on the grands, specifically the '14? I know Chevy has put flash counters on their cars that count how many times the computer has been flashed, but it only counts to 9. When the tune comes out for the '14 i'd like to install a tune but i dont want chrysler to know i did if i have to return it to stock to take it in for service.

As long as the 3.6 has an external PCV system, it should be easy to install the standard Billet Tech can under the hood. You would just need to build a mounting bracket for it. I will try to look into this for you though.
Have you found out anything on this yet?

Re: Hemifevertuning.com using Diablosport Trinity

I have the Trinity and hemifever tune installed on my '12 V8. It's just awesome. The car drives like it should now. When I want/need power, it's there. No more lag or waiting for the car to find the right gear. I haven't done any dyno, or 0-60 times, or checked mpg after the tune but I am completely happy with the mod. Makes this Jeep 100% more enjoyable to drive.

PS - I officially have the mod bug...currently looking at wheels/tires...maybe exhaust/intake...

I'm guessing there are flash counters in our ECMs. I'm also guessing that there would be no need for a tech to look at it unless there was some type of engine warranty claim. I have no serious mods done....I don't race the vehicle, and treat it pretty well... so I'm in effect, betting that the HF tune will never be calld into question. But you should assume that if you ever have a serious warranty claim...you will not fool Chrysler.
