Thanks for keeping us informed. My 11 is going to wait until they get this ironed out before I buy a custom tune and DS tuner as well. I hope it's soon!

Re: Hemifevertuning.com using Diablosport Trinity

Here is my experience with Hemifevertune

I was debating with Johan tune and Sean so I literally flipped a coin for it and Sean got my vote.

I've sent him my log of 93 diablo tune, without my bolt on mods ( Volant CAI, Gibson Axle back exhaust, Catch can) Stock 0-60 = 8.66 Diablo 93 tune = 7.98 Sean 93 tune = 6.94 Sec
A day later I've got Sean 89 and 93 Tune, uploaded it in my trinity and waited for my jeep to come out of the garage after having my Exhaust put in. Did the CAI myself, and plugged in my Sean 93 tuning.

Results: Keep in mind that alot of changes might be influenced by my CAI and Exhaust. My Throttle response was a bit more responsive with the Sean 93 tune. To me the big winner in this whole tuning is the shifting and transmission. Smooth shifts and it seems that I no longer have this fish hook lagging effect when i'm going up a hill or something. Overall i'm very satisfied with this tuning. And highly suggest anyone who's thinking about getting a tune it's worth 500+$ ( diablo trinity + custom tune )

I still have issues with the ABS because I changed my tires size, if anyone knows a way around this please post something .. Thx

What is the issue? An illuminated ABS dash light? Or something else?
Diablo was supposed to have a software patch out to address this issue. Anyone have one, or try it? I'm waiting on this patch before I purchase a Trinity w/ a custom tune.

Yes an illuminated ABS dash light is my issue, I don't see any update on diablo website since I last updated my diablo trinity. Never heard of this patch that your talking about either.. hopefully there will be a fix soon.

I dont believe the fix is out. Ive been wanting to adjust the tire size but dont want to deal with the abs light on, especially if I need to go in for service.

Re: Hemifevertuning.com using Diablosport Trinity

Sean recommeds the 180 degree tstat and a catch can. I've been looking to get a catch can already so probably will, but did anyone/ everyone get the 180 also?? Is it that important if I use his 89 tune? Thanks.

I did not switch to an 180 thermostat. I'll assess in the summer when it gets warm around here...I don't think that i've seen that anyone has switched to the 180 yet and everyone seems to be fine.

Re: Hemifevertuning.com using Diablosport Trinity

Thanks Duc for the tstat response. Couldn't resist this tuner after reading all of the posts about hemifever tuning. Got the intune from Sean, installed the Diablo canned 91 tune and ran around for a while to check it out. I would argue that the canned tune is no better than what I was feeling with the Hypertech Interceptor, and maybe the harness is even a little better. I did remove my harness before installing the tuner and was wondering if I made a mistake. But I also knew that everyone said the canned tunes pale in comparison to the hemifever custom tune, so I wasn't pushing the panic button.

Emailed my tune to Sean late this afternoon, and he sent me the 89 and 91 within a couple hours. Pretty awesome considering he's east coast and sent them after hours his time. Comments about his customer service are legit, as he's been outstanding to work with. Loaded his 89 tune tonight and took a drive to check it out. Since I had my 7 year old daughter in the car I couldn't get after it as much as I wanted to, but I can already tell- holy shit did this tune deliver! Thanks to all of you, especially 'dizz1979' for turning me on to hemifever. I will really check this thing out over the next few days, but can already tell that all the reviews for Sean's tunes are spot on. If you're gonna spend the money to buy this Jeep, you have to spend the extra $500 to make it drive the way it should.

And for those like me who may feel a little reluctant because of the tuner install, need to send Sean the tune, and receive and install his tune... don't be. My computer skills are average and this was a piece of cake. Peace.

^^^ - Thanks for the report dslide! Sean at hemifever is my next stop also, if/when he ever gets tunes ready for 2013+ hemi's.

BTW, what octane gas do you normally use? Noticed you loaded Sean's 89 tune ...

Re: Hemifevertuning.com using Diablosport Trinity

For those who have run both of Sean's tunes- whether 89 and 93 or 89 and 91, is there a significant, noticeable difference? When I drain my tank of 89 I will try the 91, but curious what others have experienced. Thx.

I've always used 89. Put in a few gallons of 91 when my tank was near empty to try out the canned Diablo 91 tune when I first received it, then went back to 89 for the hemifever 89 tune. As I just asked in my last post I'm also curious about how much a difference there is between the two.
