Oh my god, is all I can say. I was fairly happy with my 87 tune I installed using my Diablosport Trinity, but then I found out about a company called hemifevertuning.com and how Sean Powell provides a custom tune utilizing your Trinity or Intune. He offers either an 89 or 93 tune.

I installed the 89 tune and it's night and day when comparing the stock Diable 87 performance tune to Hemifever's 89 tune. The most noticeable difference is that Sean actually reprograms the TCM. Now I have zero hesitation when stepping on the gas. He'll also have you send a data log so he can makes final tweeks to the tune to get the optimum performance out of it and yes, he adjusts for those that have bolt on's such as my Mopar CAI!

The great news, is that this only cost $125 if you want to download it to your Diablosport Tuner or if you don't have one, he is a Diablo Dealer and offers a discount with his tunes already installed. It's the best $125 I have spent!

I have the Trinity and hemifever tune installed on my '12 V8. It's just awesome. The car drives like it should now. When I want/need power, it's there. No more lag or waiting for the car to find the right gear. I haven't done any dyno, or 0-60 times, or checked mpg after the tune but I am completely happy with the mod. Makes this Jeep 100% more enjoyable to drive.

PS - I officially have the mod bug...currently looking at wheels/tires...maybe exhaust/intake...

2011 Grand Cherokee 3.6L V6

afe intake
Magnaflow dual exhaust
Ported throttle body

DisbloSport canned 93 tune
0-60mph 8.67 seconds
I know I can do better, I let off the throttle just a bit as it started to approach redline. I will do more runs.

I'm going to ride around with this for a month or so then up next, hemifever custom tune

7.96 with the 93 hf tune and no mods on a 2012 v6 overland with adv tech and ora2 (extra skid plate weight). Sean had access to some extra tq mgmt tables recently and it improved my times. It was also really cold out when I tested it though. I highly recommend his tunes.

Did Diablosport ever get the tire size change abs light issues resolved? My stock tires are nearly done at 36k miles and it would be nice to go bigger.

I ordered the tune from Sean for my 2011 Limited with 5.7L. This past weekend was a holiday weekend and he responded with tunes in less than 12 hours and quickly answered all of my questions. I'm very impressed with his service.

The tune is fantastic! It is much better than the stock 93 tune DiabloSport provides. The only mod I have right now is a Corsa cat-back exhaust. With the DiabloSport tune, the exhaust note at WOT wasn't very good and shifting while at WOT made the exhaust have a little bit of "fart" to it ... which I HATED. Sean's tune fixed that and the shifting is so much better now.

It is the best money I've spent in a long time and I highly recommend Sean!

Reinstalled it today. Man what a difference, especially when you are doing about 40-60 and punch it. The hemi comes to life and drops a couple of gears and does not bog down like it does from the factory. I'd love a V6 owner to drive mine and tell me they have great acceleration on the highway. Their V6 will feel like a 4 cylinder when you compare it to a hemifever tuned 5.7.

Anyone running larger, off-road tires with the Hemifever tune?

Yes, 275/65/18 Duratracs. However, I'm only using the Trinity/HF for engine tuning. I attempted to change my tire size via the Trinity and what a ****ing nightmare that turned into.

Well not huge off road tires but I'm running 275/55/20 duratracs. No problems at all and the throttle response is insane. I would recommend hemifever to anyone.

Same here 275/65/18 Duratracs with Hemifever tune. The tune is great and responsive just don't use the tuner to change tire size or it will trigger the ABS light. I just have to mentally add a couple mph to the speedo.

Sully you have a WK I believe the ABS light is a problem with WK2s even with the canned Diablosport tunes. At least that is what their tech support told me over the phone a couple weeks ago "We are aware of the problem and are working on a resolution"

Yeah I have my speedo set for 32 inch tires and I have no abs light. I told hemifever my tire size and I believe he did it for me.

Eh - well lucky you. Many of us attempted this and fell victim to the ABS nightmare. Supposedly the latest software revs have it fixed but I refuse to touch it again after all the time I spent getting my ABS issue resolved. Not worth it.

Does the dealer hassle you for warranty violations with the Trinity tuning? I keep seeing conflicting info. I'm still under factory warranty.

Just take the tune off / back to stock before taking in to Dealership Service Dept. Easy as can be even my wife does it herself on hers and loads the hemifever tune back on as soon as it leaves the service bay
