For sure the Tesla wasn't driven by this lady...

Re: How fast do you think your Hemi is?

The 5.7 Hemi GC is a quick SUV. Being in a country which SUVs are dominating the sales (beside the small sedans like corollas and civics), I can say the Hemi GC has a very respectable acceleration for it is size and weight. I have the chance to test it with Lexus LX570, GMC Yukon Denali, and Ford SVT Raptor and the GC was the faster of the set. But if we compare it to the Germans, they have a better technologies and their V8 comparable models has a better weight and power compared to the GC.

My brother has a Regular Cab Ram 1500 with the hemi, and stock to stock, the GC lead for the first 35-45 mph and then the Ram wake up and pull it. I had a 07 G35 sedan and it was faster than both from a dig or roll (3.5l and 306 hp). After having CAI, CB, and HF tune on the Ram, we tested it with a 370z (as the Infiniti has been sold) and the Z still the faster, but the ram has the potential to hold with it until 60-70 mph.

Just my 2 cents

This sounds about right since i had a friendly run with a Ram a while back and that what happened. We both let off but only made it to the above mph.

But we'll never know will we.

But we'll never know will we.

We continued to around 107 mph (where the ram limiter) and he pulled me and gave me around two cars length, after he hit the limiter we know what happens (my car has a top speed of 142 mph as our Jeeps doesn't have a limiter). The ram wakes up between 40 to 100 mph, he has 2012 4x4 with 6at.

I do miss the high revs in the M3 and smashing through some twistys! Decided on the Overland and a Ducati Monster to satiate my need for utility (Overland) and speed (Ducati). Not the fastest bike but definitely fast enough.

Re: How fast do you think your Hemi is?

The Hemi feels good for a heavy SUV. The 8 speed makes it even more fun and just sounds amazing going through the gears. I would call it quick, not fast. I have even had fast cars including a C6 Z06 vette so I know what fast is. What I am finding out is it really depends on what speed you floor it at or if the 8spd can drop down enough to really pull hard. The other day I found a sweet spot and it caught me off guard good enough that I said holy crap lol. I forget the speed but it was probably somewhere around 30mph.
