Re: Hypertech Interceptor Install

The controller box is the little box that plugs into the wiring that attaches to your gas pedal. If you look on the other end of it there is a micro USB plug connection. When you got your kit , there was a CD and a micro usb cable in the box.

Put the CD in your computer and install the program , then it will tell you to plug in the box so it can look for updates. Let it check and if there is a new update it will install it. Then just plg the box back into the wiring by your gas pedal. Not sure how often they do updates , but it is updateable via the micro usb cable.

Re: Hypertech Interceptor Install

How are you guys liking the Hypertech Interceptor so far?

I saw there was some issue with an update awhile ago, and having to ship it back to get corrected. Hopefully now in 2015 that should be all cleared up and no other issue that we know of...

I still haven't decided whether or not I like it. What issue are you talking about? And when?

I'm using the '14 Interceptor on my JGC '15, and I was told by Hypertech that it wouldn't be an issue.

Re: Hypertech Interceptor Install

I haven't had any issues yet with my install but haven't really had a lot of time on it yet. I have definitely noticed a better acceleration with it over stock , and you have to remember I just came from a tuned srt8.

This weekend I am going on a fairly lengthy trip so will see how much difference in mileage and driveability it actually makes. So far I am happy with it but the long trip will tell the tale on how it performs along with the volant.
