In need of a CAI

I just got a 2014 GC Laredo. I have never even thought about the idea of doing performance mods since I know absolutely nothing about them. I mainly stick to visual mods.

Well I have been pondering the thought of getting a CAI. I also thought about an exhaust. I am not looking for crazy noise but just would like it to sound alittle bit more like a truck. What products are out there that are recommended. Like I said I know absolutely nothing so links to products would be greatly appreciated. I have a tight budget so I know i am going to be limited.

For the exhaust do I have to replace the whole system all the way to the engine or are there options out there?

Thanks guys

re: In need of a CAI

You mean CAI??? Because we don't need no government officials inside our engine bays now. haha

But anyways, I've been interested in the same thing for the V6. I haven't heard of anyone doing this yet. Maybe others can chime in with more info.

re: In need of a CAI

If going aftermarket I'd suggest the MOPAR unit, it won't hurt the warrenty but may not fit right. 77070042. Make sure it is this part number only, some sites take this number then show the cheaper one for a V8 (-0041)

re: In need of a CAI

Read, read, read on here. Lots of threads about CAI's
My K&N fit like a glove and I know many others(other Mfg's) fit well too.
Good luck and most of all, enjoy the sound

Re: In need of a CAI

I just put a K&N on my '14. I'll start a separate thread in this forum.
