Awesome job, does any one has a link to that list of parts numbers required to complete the work, I'm planing to take the endeavor and covert my JCG2015 LTD from single to a dual exhaust.

Re: Installing V8 Dual exhaust on V6

Hi I was able to pick up free resonators with part of the exhaust piping for free from fellow member ajag for my 2011 V6. Unfortunately my stock muffler is only single outlet. I am looking for dual exhaust look and if I can gain anything performance wise then great. Call me vain if you will, I like dual exhaust look.

So my question is can I replace stock single outlet stock muffler with one of the magnaflows? Would it fit in about the same location and then get x-pipe and have that fabbed? Or should I just go y-pipe to the two resonators.

I have 3 kids in college so money is always an issue. Also anybody know good muffler shops on North Shore of Boston?

Thanks

Mine fits perfect on my 2012. I used the exhaust from a 2011 Hemi model on my 2012 V6 model. Maybe they did not use the correct hanger on it?

Re: Installing V8 Dual exhaust on V6

I used a 2015 overland dual exhaust part 68276648AA and the rest of the parts mentioned on the forum like hanger for rear muffler and heat shield. The new exhaust came with the hangers for the mid pipe and the hangers before the rear are pre welded at the factory. So I only installed the hanger for the tip area.

Best clue to performance I think is if you look at the 300 with the v6 there is a 10hp difference between the 300s v6 and the stock 300 and the only difference between the 2 is the dual exhaust on the 300s, so I would expect a similar increase on the Jeep.

I just took off the dual exhaust catback from my 2014 Summit 5.7 Hemi with only 11k on the clock. It was cut twice and the Summit specific tips were also removed but with a few dollars of welding at a local muffler shop and tips of your choosing you'll be running factory fit stainless dual exhaust for way less than an aftermarket system.

I'm asking $250 plus whatever crating and shipping is for your location if you are not within driving distance. PM if interested.
