^^^ - Not sure, but I think I read that that TSB is only for 2014+models

Correct, only 2014. Had mine applied but ECO still comes on automatically

I brought up this device sometime last year in a similar thread and got flamed for wanting to have MDS always off. Funny.

I vouch for this product as i had this device on my previous 2011 Camaro SS that had AFM (MDS). Fell in love with my car all over again.

Sux that its not available for the WK2. But i wonder what happens if you plug it in the OBDII.

Also, it seems that TSB is bogus because i have yet to see anyone confirm that it actually works.

The wording on that TSB is strange and doesn't really emphasize that it will keep the eco mode actually off.

I would happily turn off MDS forever and never look back. I drive my SRT in sport mode most of the time to stop the MDS from constantly cycling. The downside is that the suspension also firms up, not something I want while commuting around town.

Yes the whole speculation was that that TSB works on MY 14's(No one has confirmed that it has worked) when it states MY 15.

As you know, people see what they want to. Taken in isolation, (built before Aug14, 2014) sounds pretty good. Who cares if it says MY15.

But never say never. There could have been a couple of late build MY14s that got some MY15 components.

Re: Is there anyway to eliminate the Eco-MDS Function?

This one is for model year 2014 and the only new item it claims to fix is eco button not retaining the chosen setting on model year 2014. It doesn't fix the only new item that it states it was issued to fix.

Read the whole TSB. The only issue that is listed as a fix for that TSB is for the 2014s and is to correct

**ECO mode will not retain settings. If ECO mode is turned off, it will turn back on
after the ignition is cycled.**
