I have had one. On my old Ram hemi. It makes a wonderful paper weight.

Re: Jet Performance chip/programmer

Finally got a chance to put mine in today, along with the 185* thermostat. Initial SOTP impression is not bad at all. Throttle tip in is a bit quicker and it doesn't feel like it just runs in place when you nail it like it did before. The difference isn't really more power overall, but it definitely gets to top power quicker.

We'll see how it fares after a couple of days, but for now not bad for a cheap module.

Re: Jet Performance chip/programmer

I am wondering if this changes the misfire / surge feeling under light acceleration that many experience?

I never noticed that problem, but I did have an issue with a serious lag during the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts under heavy throttle. Those are now almost gone.

After over 1K miles on the chip, I'm happy with what I got for the $. My jeep is quicker (not faster) while gas mileage is about the same. ECO mode still kicks in when it should, and I find that is what makes more difference than anything else in my MPG numbers. One other nice note is that my exhaust now announces itself under WOT. Before the stock exhaust was pretty tame for a supposedly 360 hp V8. Now it's got a nice rumble when you step on it.

Re: Jet Performance chip/programmer

thinking about ordering one of these. I have a volant CAI and not sure whether I should get stage 1 or 2??? Any update on the performance of these, anyone else tried one? I would love to get the feeling back when I first changed over to the CAI and had a heap of extra grunt... then of course the computer adjusted back to normal after a few hundred miles.

If we ever figure out what fuse to pull like we did on the LX platform, you can have it again. In the mean time I wonder if disconnecting the battery would do it?

Re: Jet Performance chip/programmer

I just purchased the Volant and the Jet Chip Stage 1. I really wish someone had dyno #'s to present. Seems like I just bought noise makers at this point.
