K&N CAI installed w/ pics :-)

So I bought my cai off amazon for $230. The shipping was incredibly fast it only took 2 days to get here.

First thing I noticed when I opened it, was that the filter was huge!! The install was very straightforward and fairly simple. Everything fits nicely, but I was excited and in a rush. So I have to go back and align everything properly.

With everything installed and working properly it sounds great! I noticed quicker response in the mid to high rpms. Its loud at WOT but sounds mean. But when your cruising its quiet.

I suspect there's no noticeable difference between most CAIs.

Any chance we can get an updated pic of the piping aligned and engine cover installed?

Re: K&N CAI installed w/ pics :-)

Hi guys. yeah I put the same K&N air intake in to my 2011 JGC. Have to agree it sounds freakin AWESOME! Put a smile on my dial.
Like Mike, my mileage was pretty bad for a few months, just love hearing that sound! But as I settled down and kept to the speed limit, my mileage is very good.
