Has K&N come out with a cold air intake kit for a 2011 Grand Cherokee yet? I was on there website and I don't see it available.

Re: K&N cold air intake?

Nope - nobody has a true CAI out yet. Bwoody has a short air intake, but see the post on air intake temps before you buy it.

Re: K&N cold air intake?

I do not think it's very good for 3.6, according to dyno-test, the torque is reduced at low revs. Very bad.

Re: K&N cold air intake?

OMG, finally CAI is here for V6. Then, like rexx300 said it will take away my low-end tourque & HP! Extra 10+HP is good but from 5,500RPM?! Surprisingly, new CAI doens't have air chamber which is good for low-end tourque.

Should I get it or not?

Re: K&N cold air intake?

I'm in a wk1 with 63 series K&N air charger.
All I can say to you guys is, don't get too hung up on extra Bhp's. What will improve however is smoother gearshifts and better throttle response. No to talk about the "nascar engine sound" comments I get everywhere.
It really kicks your ride into life. That being placebo effect or not. I simply don't care. It makes me horney

Because people will buy it? So, this kit will, in fact, decrease performance in regular driving conditions. They published the info to prove it.
