Mopar CAI.

I just install the Mopar CAI and it feels really good and the sound is also nice. I like that is not super noisy, but it feel super responsive.
Let see how much gas I manage to save. jajajaja.

Re: Mopar CAI.

Is the bottom of the box sealed off, or can it suck in some cooler air from underneath? Would seem restrictive if just the small opening at the top is the only air inlet source (OEM like).

Re: Mopar CAI.

It is very tight on the bottom to avoid the heat from the engine to come in from the bottom and also in case of water intrusion.
Imagine a hole that big and winds of 70-80mph coming in thru the factory inlet. I think is a lot of good air coming in no problem.

Re: Mopar CAI.

Your Mopar Cold Air Intake looks great. I just ordered one for myself. It should be a nice addition to my Corsa exhaust.

I would worry alot more about a serious amount of HEAT SOAK with that METAL tube then I would about a sealed bottom!
