New to the GC WK2, looking for an 3.6L Exhaust...

Hey everyone, I just purchased a 14' GC Altitude 3.6L V6 last week and am looking to upgrade my OEM exhaust. I just came from a couple JK Wranglers and it seems as though there were a lot more options for parts. I don't need a full cat-back and like the look and sound of the Borla SRT exhaust but I'm not sure it would fit. Are there any recommendations of what fits and what does not? Thanks in advance for all your help!

Do you have duals or single right now? SRT exhaust pipes are too big. You would have to do either a custom setup or some other system

You could buy a Hemi (non srt) exhaust. Look at the Borla or Corsa systems.
There are some youtube videos with pentastar wk2's that have installed both hemi systems.

What are you looking to get out of the new exhaust system? Better performance, better milage, cooler exhaust notes? You might want to check around some of the threads that have had different people that have tried this and haven't found significant changes or in some cases it has been bad on their performance, mileage or harder on the engine.

You can always add a molar or K&N cool intake filter and see if that helps. I just have the K&N air filter and don't notice much change, but I like having a second filter on hand.

I do have the duel setup and am looking for a cool exhaust note with some better performance but am open to both full cutback and axle back exhausts. I was doing some research and noticed that the Borla axle back exhausts do not fit at all.

I posted this on another V6 exhaust thread as well, but Gibson offers a dual axle back system for the 3.6L. Will update once its delivered and installed

I have the gibson axle back on mine. No dual exhaust tho. Once it breaks in after a month you can really hear a great tone from it. Very happy with it

Are there any sound clips of this single exhaust system?

Here are a few, but they don't do the sound of it justice at all, I don't think:

GIBSON EXHAUST ordered 3.6L V6

I also have the single Gibson axle back exhaust and really like it.

Guess there's no way to get the Boral SRT (S-type or Atak) to fit the V6 engine with dual exhaust?
