Paint For Exhaust Kits

Hey guys,

So I have a Gibson Exhaust on the way for my Grand Cherokee 3.6L. Its an axle back stainless steel finish. I have a black and red theme going on, so I'm curious to find out how to go about painting the exhaust gloss black. Has anybody ever done this before, and what paint did you use?

Thanks in advance

Ceramic coat is the best, but most costly and time consuming.

Otherwise, BBQ paint is the other option for budget work

Painted mine with some header paint from advance auto. Good for 1200 degrees or so.

Nice, I will check this stuff out. Did you have to sand down the exhaust tip so the paint binds with the metal? I have a chrome tip right now.
