PCV Valve change on a 2012 Pentastar V6

As part of my 100k mile service I changed the spark plugs and PCV Valve. Taking the throttle body off gives better access to the PCV valve, which is on the rear of the passenger side valve cover.

There are three T25 torx bolts that hold this on. A good tool for this is a Kobalt right angle bit driver- see the first picture. It is a totally blind operation. Don't drop the screws or your tool.

ChryCo has redesigned the valve so the outlet exits on top, where it used to exit out towards the passenger side. The new unit uses only two screws, where the old one required three. They sell a replacement hose that fits this new valve (picture #2).

Picture 3 is the new valve and hose in place.
