Performance Upgrades

What is everyone with a 2011-2013 3.6L WK2 running??

1) K&N or AFE Intake?

2) Borla or Magnaflow exhaust?

Re: Performance Upgrades

Just installed yesterday in my GC limited 2014 a Borla exhaust and K&N intake, first impression very nice sound from the exhaust at low rpms... At high rpms I listen a raspy note, don't know exactly if it is the exhaust or something loose from installation... I am in the process of finding that out

Re: Performance Upgrades

aFe dry for sure.

Whatever is cheapest for exhaust. I would simply replace the muffler. OE exhaust is stainless.

Re: Performance Upgrades

I wouldn't call a cat-back exhaust system a "performace" mod since there's little to no gain in power from an aftermarket CBE. If anything you lose some low end torque. You'd see a greater increase in power with a CAI.

A CBE is mostly for an exhaust note change...i.e. increase in sound.
