Putting on Black Exhaust Tips

So my friend gave me a set of Black chrome exhaust tips to put on my '15 altitude. How could i go about putting them on being that the stock tips are, of course, welded on?

Could i go to a shop and get the new ones welded on? Or, should i get the old ones sawed off and clamp on the new ones?

Need some advice, thanks!

Re: Putting on Black Exhaust Tips

be sure if welded they are good at listening to your fitment spec and agree to it...jointing it gives it the fitment adjustability...

Re: Putting on Black Exhaust Tips

Those black chrome tips clamp on over the top of your existing exhaust tips. DON'T CUT ANYTHING!

Re: Putting on Black Exhaust Tips

And anyone with a screwdriver can walk away with them. Idk if its my vehicle i fully commit to my mods. But if ur insecure if u like it or not or maybe it is a lease or something then go and clamp them. But ive always felt that a clamp on exhaust is like putting a playing card on the spoke of a bicycle and saying its a motorcycle.

Test it, clamp em, decide if u like em and then weld them or take em off.

Re: Putting on Black Exhaust Tips

Are they Mopar tips? Or aftermarket?
