Re: Putting on the kn kit this weekend

I added the Mopar chrome exhaust tip and SS brake & gas pedals...

Don't expect much performance improvement or improved mpg from the K&N intake. Best you can hope for is a bit more sound from under the hood due to the more open design.

The computer controls for the engine cannot be "tuned" at the present time.

Well that sucks about the kit was thinking I would get something and hope it doesnt make it to much louder cause already put an exhaust on it. Somebody need to come out with a programmer or something. But thanks for the info

Re: Putting on the kn kit this weekend

I am considering the Volant intake for mine, when it is available.

I have added the intakes in the past. The sound effect alone may be worth it. Also, your "seat of the pants dyno" will feel an improvement in low end and throttle response - typically.

If you already have the after-market dual exhaust, you have pretty much done everything available for the 3.6L at the present time - other than adding a ported throttle body for some added improved air flow.

Best luck.

Re: Putting on the kn kit this weekend

Got the kit on and got all the emblems off and the chrome side moldimg gone. I like the look alot more now. And the sound of it now after putting the kit make a good little difference. And I love the sound when it sucks in air now just need a programmer so I can get my friend to start on a turbo
