Question on removing Computer clips

Hi, all! First time poster here. Recently found the forum and have been excited to be a part of the community.

I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L and purchased a JET Performance chip for it. The chip came in today, but alas it was not the right model (lots of misleading info online).

My question is that when I went to pull out the computer, that's when I was having a lot of trouble removing the connectors that go to the computer. In most videos the installer could flip these up with one hand, but mine don't seem that easy. I don't want to break them, so can anyone tell me/show me how to remove these so as to not damage them? If all it really needs is a flathead screwdriver and a little push under the black part in the picture, that's easy enough. Just wanted to be sure Im prying in the right direction.

Thanks!

Re: Question on removing Computer clips

Hi, guys.

I figured out my problem. I watched VERY closely a few more times on a JET module install for a Wrangler and what you have to do is slide the little red clip towards the front of the truck then there's a tiny little plastic piece you push down then wiggle the connector out.

Just thought I'd follow up here in case someone else ran into the same issue. Such a stupid problem to have.
