As always depends how you drive I was averaging around 23-24 when I was doing alot of highway about 100 mile a day 70 - 80mph. Now I am doing a lot more city with highway about 20mppg with bigger tires which I am sure is dropping my mpg by 10 -15%

Re: Real world mileage numbers for V6 and Hemi?

Are these actual MPG numbers determined by dividing miles driven since last fill up by gallons required for fill up, or the number given to you by the vehicle information system?

Personally, I only trust actual calculations. I've compared the vehicle's stated MPG versus true MPG and found quite a bit of variance depending on many variables.

This is a very good question but I found numbers from vehicle information system to be close enough to actual calculations in my old ZJ.
