Does your Blow Off Valve flutter when you let off the throttle?

Makes a funny fluttering sound....just not used to it

It flutters only sometimes ussually if im wot and let off before shifting. Check the bov direction as mine points other way towards front bumper.

Needs to be turned 180 degrees. Mine is other way.

You guys are killing me. If this kit was under 5k I would be in. Just cant justify it at that price point. What is your average mpg? Any difference?

Re: RIPP 3.6 Grand Cherokee HP Hunting

I moved my BOV so that it's pointing down...not sure it changed anything but it does look like its supposed to be pointing that way.

I drove around quite a bit last night and WOW!

SO much more fun to drive.,....this thing is so much faster its no comparison to stock...mine is driving perfect also...no weird tendencies or behavior....the blower does make a lot more "bearing" type sound than i thought it would at idle though...not sure if it gets quieter when its broken in?

Hopefully this is normal and not something wrong in the vortec unit?

Re: RIPP 3.6 Grand Cherokee HP Hunting

The chatter is completely normal and its gets slightly quieter but not much. Once you change the oil after break in you will see it gets quieter. You will get used to it. I can't wait to get the higher boost pulley now and see what this thing can really do. Right now is a sleeper but it will then be a silent killer for sure.

Will be having it installed early next week..can't wait!

Guys it's only 6300$ and about 800-1000$ to install

That's cheap considering the power gains....my wife was opposed to me getting the srt so this is perfect

Srt like performance for a lot less

Of course I now have as much invested into my gc as the cost of an srt

Since I only paid 36K for my altitude I think I'll be money ahead!
