Yea that's a pretty good improvement in mpg, I'm assuming highway went up also, with such a huge bump in performance , mpg goes up but retains some v8 performance. Lookin foward to your performance numbers. Looks like a great upgrade! And love the complete package of your ride.

Re: Ripp Supercharging my 2014 3.6 Grand Cherokee

I have a pretty significant tuning issue going on with my supercharged setup

It's running rich and it's running out of air up
Top ..but even with all that mine is pulling a 5.6 second 0-60

I know some of these 3.6l setups are pulling in the high 4 second range when tuned perfectly

I'm still chasing my issues and can't wait to get them resolved as it's not allowing me to really open mine up without kicking off the knock sensors

Re: Ripp Supercharging my 2014 3.6 Grand Cherokee

So i picked up my jeep yesterday. As it stands, i am running the following:

-same 8psi pulley
-3" boost piping
-gen2 srt intercooler
-3.5" filter
-910 cc injectors

At this point it is putting down 360awhp with still the 8psi. Ripp had the upgraded pulley on there but the fuel pump was falling off in higher rpms. I can tell you that they have successfully transformed this truck again. It is so much more responsive and has very noticeable gains from previous setup. It drive great and i am already at 19 mpg after one day of driving. The bov is significantly louder now after the increased air flow. I will now sit and wait patiently for ripp to solve the fuel pump issue. Ross said that with the 11 psi pulley it was consistently over 400 but did not want to take any chances until fuel upgrade was available. It definitely pulls real hard now all the way through especially down low.ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1436973543.589514.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1436973561.722362.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1436973706.412083.jpg

That sounds awesome! I've been working with Ripp on my 2012 getting the tuning perfect, but since the 2011-12 have a different ECU it's been a little more difficult to get just right. She pulls like a beast, especially on the highway, just has hesitation/ hiccups on occasion. Fortunately I just moved to FL, about an hour from Diablo. Ripp arranged for my Jeep to head in to Diablo to get a full understanding of the older design. Can't wait to get it back! Hoping the upgrades you had installed can be done at the same time as the new tune. That bigger intercooler would help in this FL summer heat I think. Hopefully Diablo will be able to give me some dyno numbers to compare post tune. I'll also be heading to the drag strip to get some 1/4 mile times after Diablo.

That new intercooler is beyond massive next to the old one. Really jealous that Durangos have no space behind the grille for something like that.

Re: Ripp Supercharging my 2014 3.6 Grand Cherokee

I'm ANXIOUSLY awaiting the availability of that upgraded system as well...but it's not openly available just yet.

I have a 2014 GC 3.6L and had my RIPP system installed a couple weeks ago...I had a couple tuning issues as well but overall its running great.

I just got a new tune from RIPP today and its running better than ever...it pulls very hard in comparison to stock.

Now I'll just impatiently wait for the upgrade kit

I'm one of the original testers, they had my Jeep for 5 weeks for development. Pretty sure I have the only Ripp'd 5spd Grand at this point. It would only make sense for me to be the first 2012 with the upgrades for tuning purposes. 😃 I drive all day so it's easy for me to do tons of data logging. Plus being so close to Diablo will make things easier.

Damn, didn't know they were doing an upgraded kit. Almost 400whp has to put it near SRT power. How is the trans handling that much torque though? I thought it was near the limit on the V6 with the base kit? 450nm = 330 lb-ft

Sounds like you deserve the upgrade kit for sure

The SRT only puts down about 365-375Hp to the Wheels...so at 400HP we should be beating stock SRT's
