Re: Should have bought the v8!

the v6 does it for me on my Altitude. It is not no Subaru Legacy GT that I had with a 300hp. It does hills just fine. I just like to sit back and cruise. Bigger is not always better. Andeventually, it will be felt at the pump for the v8 guys. I believe the Pentastar v6 has more than adequate power. And remember guys, you aren't driving a 2 ton speedcraft, your driving a 4 ton yacht.

I can't complain about the Hemi's fuel economy! I reset my trip computer after I did an oil change. I got 24.3 MPG on my 17 mile commute to work. On the highway portion I got 26.1 MPG.

That obviously isn't typical. I was obviously babying it to see how high I could get it. But in normal driving (50/50 highway/city) I get over 18 MPG mixed. That's pretty damn good considering I have 360 HP/ 390 Ft Lbs Torque on tap.

Considering the 2003 Liberty Renegade I came from was only getting 15 - 16 MPG I couldn't be happier!
