Re: Snow Blocker?

^Driver side only to protect the snorkle a bit. A full hood gasket is not really needed and would perhaps create some pretty hot engine bay temps.

Re: Snow Blocker?

Wouldn't this seal reduce the amount air going in?

Nope. Air enters through the grill.

I meant air going into the air intake scoop.

Possibly, though that new ad hoc, add on blocker looks like it may just redirect air another turn and keep water out. ThT sais, so does the gasket in front of the scoop so you may be right.

Much of the air coming through the grill largely hits a hot radiator first.

I'm guessing he is talking about for the intake, since it is blocking the entrance to the snorkel.

And it's anybody's guess. But logic would say yes, it does.

It has a full hood gasket just not mounted to the hood side. Mine is off right now but then again my whole front end is kinda apart right now LOL.

Re: Snow Blocker?

Went to dealer last week and there is no part number for the actual block. They modified the piece the block connects to (similar to radiator shroud). The modified piece shows a spot for connection of snowblocker
