Some one set me straight

I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L with single exhaust. Looking to convert to dual out the back. What system works best for me? Looking for a little growl (doing a KN CAI also) Any true bolt on systems out there? Cost? I do not want it to sound like a ricer either. Part numbers would be great. Thanks in advance

Evolv0 is just really nice
Re: Some one set me straight

Ive seen a lot of Intake and exhaust threads regarding the 3.6L in the performance section, just do a search.

Your not gonna get a growl or V8 sound out of the 3.6
All the systems I've heard so far sound more ricey

magnaflow 16929. You need to swap out that lower bumper part so that you have the dual cutouts. A ton of people have done it and it doesn't sound ricey at all. Search the forum I had it on my 2012 jgc.

Installing the 16929 on my Hemi in the spring. Should release the Hemi growl nicely. It's sitting in the garage now.

Re: Some one set me straight

Went with the magnaflow 16929 system. Getting installed tomorrow. Lower valance was put on by me. What a PITA. If anyone is thinking about getting this system, try E-Bay. There is a seller that sells the magnaflow system but he can not tell you that it is a magnaflow until you e-mail him. He then e-mails you back and tells you it is a magnaflow and you work out a deal from there. The system lists for 1103.00 on e-bay but when he contacts you he offers you a discounted price. Mine was 990.00 with free shipping. I counter offered 850.00 shipped to my door and he agreed. It is legit as my system is in the back of my Jeep for instalation on Monday. It arrive in 2 days after ordering it. Just tryin to save everyone some cash money. Al

Re: Some one set me straight

I ordered a Dynomax 39513 exhaust off amazon last year for only $450 and I never regretted it, at idle it sounds 10 times deeper than factory hemi engine, when I remote start it in the morning it shakes the picture frames on my walls, takes some getting used to and dont plan to ever sneak out anywhere with it. I dont have a good sound clip of it, but I do have one video when I was messing around in the snow, you can kinda hear the pitch but its alot louder in person

Been awaiting more videos/sound examples from all kinds of people who have this exhaust on their Pentastar, but no one ever follows through. I'm interested to hear more of it installed on the 3.6...and your videos are the only two that exist from what I've found.

Could we trouble you for some more samples if you have time and are able?

Awesome. Thanks!

Even an interior vid would be helpful too.

Re: Some one set me straight

There's lots of vids on youtube (and here). Also search Durango. It will sound the same. Several put the R/T exhaust on V6 Durangos. It sounds a little raspy/ricey to me.
