Re: Sprint booster

So... It does work on a 2016. To be honest, I was probably expecting an even more dramatic improvement, perhaps due to all of the awesome reports in this post. Now that being said, the change is definitely noticeable and the booster is worth every penny. I love the fact that you can still drive normally and gear shifting stays smooth. I left it set to green, disconnected the controller and put it inside the glove compartment.

In summary, My driving style can be considered as conservative (gotta save that gas lol) but I do need my vehicle to be responsive in certain situations (passing vehicles or merging onto a highway); this little device gives me exactly what I need.

Great news that it worked on your 2016. After driving with this for a while if you ever turn it off you'll really notice the difference. Glad everything worked out!

Re: Sprint booster

Will do Paul. Hoping it will eliminate the lag at the throttle opening.

Sprint booster

I hooked mine up. It definitely is more responsive. I need to play around with the SB some more. It was all around town and not sure if I will run it in Sport/Green or Red or normal mode. It's nice to have some choices. Haven't had on the highway yet. I've had a little bit of erratic shifting since I bought my '15 in March. I need to have a TSB or two done to see if that helps. With the SB some of the erratic shifting is magnified sometimes. I will repot back once I get more time with it.

That's because the jeep takes into account throttle position when determining shift schedule. By using tps, it determines the load on the motor and adjust shift patterns accordingly

Re: Sprint booster

Clicked on this thread to see what a sprint booster was. Now, thanks to you guys, it looks like I will be 300.00 lighter in the wallet. Mine is a 2011 Limited 3.6 so I will report back once installed.
