Re: Sprint booster

I just spent about 2 hours on mostly a 70 mph interstate and some on 55 mph county roads. Kept it in 6th gear most of the time. Used the SB for passing and the SB 'passed' with flying colors.

Fluctuating between 19 and 19.2 mpg.

Anyone else notice it was shipped from and I assume was made in Athens Greece?

Re: Sprint booster

hmmm, looks interesting. I have the diablo tuner running at 91 octane with throttle boost at 5%. Does anybody run the Sprint Booster in conjunction with the diablo tuner?

Does this do the same thing as the throttle boost? Maybe I should increase the boost in the tune.

Thanks

With all the raving reviews about the Sprint Booster I'm surprised you went with the pedal-box. I checked out some other forums before I purchased the SB. A few people who bought the pedal-box said they had some problems with a few of the settings. Also if the control cable goes bad you have to replace the unit. Hopefully you'll have no issues. Please keep us updated!

Re: Sprint booster

The Pedal Box has more adjustability to each setting. It'll be nice to have a good comparison to the Sprint Booster. Pedal Box is very popular with imports.

I'll likely have a Pedal Box in my Hemi soon. I'll post a review once received.

Re: Sprint booster

I just installed Pedal Box on my 2015 Altitude 3.6l Wow what a difference!
I still need to play with the settings to find my preference, but it's awesome so far.

Re: Sprint booster

WOW! It was in fact that missing piece to the puzzle of making this ecodiesel an absolute beast! And more importantly, way more driver friendly...
Bought the DTE pedalbox. Made in Germany and it feels it. Nicely made cable wrapped and taped at the end where it splits into 2 connectors. The connectors are nice, and the control box is sweet, nice buttons, lights and easy to set. The setting are as follows, off, eco, sport, and sport +. The preset setting was 1st level of sport.
Installation took all of ten minutes, only because 7 of those minutes were trying to figure out where I wanted the control box to be. I pushed the harness with connectors under the steering column and ran them down above the go pedal, plugged the connectors into the pedal harness and done. It is residing to the left of the steering wheel on he panel above the air bag below steering column. I turned it on and took a drive around town in the preset setting. I felt the difference immediately. Response was far better and it didn't seem to take the transmission as long to downshift. I then changed the setting to the top setting of sport mode. Boom! It was even better! Not searching for the gears as much, response is right there. Today I will try sport + mode and see how that works.
So, my review is this, I can't believe the difference. It truely makes this car less scary merging and passing and any kind of quick maneuver that requires more of the go pedal. It is worth every penny, even if it was $300! I got it for $250 delivered. It is the best $250 you can spend on our vehicles other than stainless steel brakes lines.
Do it, it's a no brainer!

My ecodiesel has the GDE hot tune, drop in dry afe air filter, cat back, soon to be full exhaust, and the cb intercooler and pipes. This thing drives unreal! Still going to twin it, but she sure is my baby!
